The Wildcats opened the series with a 6-2 rout of the Huskies on Friday. Five different Wildcats found the back of the net with Reed Seckel scoring twice and three defenseman contributing goals.
Senior defenseman Kyle Follmer was one of the three defenseman to score, but it was his save that got him and the ’Cats on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays Friday.
NMU head coach Walt Kyle, who earned his 200th win on Friday, has made two changes to the lineup. Ryan Kesti comes in for Kory Kaunisto as the fourth-line center. On defense, Austin Handley replaces Ryan Trenz and will match up with Follmer.
