12/1/12 NMU hockey line up: Wildcats at Broncos

MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University hockey team squares off against Western Michigan tonight in Game 2 of the weekend series at 7:05 p.m. at Lawson Ice Arena in Kalamazoo.

The Wildcats lost Game 1 of the series on Friday 4-2.

Below is NMU’s lineup for Saturday against the Broncos. Senior forward Matt Thurber and freshman forward Justin Rose remain suspended by NMU head coach Walt Kyle for a violation of a team rule during a trip to Ohio State.

NMU is skating tonight with only 11 forwards and an additional defenseman for seven. Freshman forward Robert Lindores takes the spot of sophomore Nate Taurence. Junior defenseman Austin Handley enters the lineup at D, while senior forward Brian Nugent is a scratch.
