
| | Northern Links: NMU hockey improves to 3-1, splits with UNOOctober 21, 2012 - Matt WellensMARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University hockey team salvaged a series split with Nebraska-Omaha over the weekend, winning 2-1 on Saturday night in Omaha behind 35 saves by junior goaltender Jared Coreau.
The Wildcats return home the next two weekends to host Notre Dame and Michigan in CCHA play. Look for the return of the NMU Hockey Report and other original Mining Journal content then.
