Name (number): Cohen Adair (22) Position: Forward Year: Freshman Age: 20 Height: 6-2 Weight: 201 Hometown: Stratford, Ontario Last club (league): Powell River Kings (BCHL) Major: Computer science Hobbies: Fishing, golf, programming, web design Favorite NHL team: “I was a big Ottawa (Senators) fan, but you kind of lose hope when they lose every year.” Favorite NHL player: Jason Spezza Strongest skill on the ice: Down low, protecting the puck Weakest skill on the ice: Speed What is your ideal pregame meal? “It’s simple, just a bowl of oatmeal.” Who has been the biggest influence on your hockey career and why? “I would go with my dad because he actually played for the first junior team I played for (Stratford Cullitons, GOJHL) and growing up in a small town, the hockey team is huge. I always wanted to be like my dad and play for them when I got old enough. Ever since then he’s been supportive about everything I do. I just want to make him proud.” In head coach Walt Kyle’s words:“He’s a power forward with good hands, good shot. He was very good last year in Powell River. He was a very good player on a very good team. He’s a guy we look to add size and strength and some offense, and a guy whose career will grow and develop year by year.”
