What is your ideal pregame meal?

“It’s simple, just a bowl of oatmeal.”

Who has been the biggest influence on your hockey career and why?

“I would go with my dad because he actually played for the first junior team I played for (Stratford Cullitons, GOJHL) and growing up in a small town, the hockey team is huge. I always wanted to be like my dad and play for them when I got old enough. Ever since then he’s been supportive about everything I do. I just want to make him proud.”

In head coach Walt Kyle’s words:“He’s a power forward with good hands, good shot. He was very good last year in Powell River. He was a very good player on a very good team. He’s a guy we look to add size and strength and some offense, and a guy whose career will grow and develop year by year.”
