NMU's Follmer named to All-CCHA preseason second team

MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University senior defenseman Kyle Follmer was the lone Wildcat to be named to the All-CCHA preseason teams, announced today.

Follmer, a second-team selection, was fourth among defenseman in scoring last season with four goals and 22 assists for 26 points.

Follmer is the second-leading scorer among returning defenseman this year behind Michigan senior Lee Moffie, who was also a second-team selection. Moffie has seven goals and 22 assists.

Follmer’s 22 assists was good for sixth in the CCHA and led the Wildcats.
