Faith detailed

To the Journal editor:

Thank you for featuring on the Oct. 21 Worship Page an article on the 200th anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah. Too many people are still not familiar with His name or the magnitude of His positive influence on modern society. As the article mentioned, many of the principles He pioneered are now taken for granted worldwide.

Although your article originated in Madison, Wisconsin, the Marquette area Baha’i community also participated in the global Bicentenary celebration on Saturday with a dinner for families and friends and a program on Baha’u’llah’s life featuring our children’s class. Over 30 people attended and enjoyed a great evening.

As a followup, we are inviting the public to the presentation of an hour-long internationally produced documentary film on Baha’u’llah’s life at 7 tonight in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Library, to provide a little more information than could be included in the article that was printed.

Thanks again.
