Daniel Bruce Blackwell

He was under the care of hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Dan graduated from Marquette high school in 1980. He loved his hockey, having played for the high school team and Marquette junior hockey travel teams. He may have lived in Florida but the Red Wings and the Packers were his favorite teams.

He was the son of Yvonne Clark and Robert L. Clark. He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Blackwell and his grandmother Mary Derrick.

He is survived by a son Daniel and daughter Olivia Blackwell, granddaughter Layla, two sisters Denise (Michael) Vrooman and Denette (Bill) Groff, brothers Darren Blackwell, Derek (Karen) Blackwell. He has 2 nieces, 4 nephews and 8 grand nieces and nephews.

The family thanks go to his best friend Rafael (Turtle) Ruiz of Tarpon Springs Florida.

Per Dan’s wishes there will be no funeral.
