Linda C. Perucco

Linda was born September 2, 1947 in Marquette to Eber P. and Edythe L. (Rohl) Perucco. She graduated from Dondero High School, Class of 1965, in Royal Oak, Michigan. Following graduation, Linda was employed for many years as a loan officer for Wells Fargo in Minneapolis and then in Billings, Montana from where she retired. She moved back to Negaunee following her retirement in 2009.

Linda was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Negaunee, the Negaunee Historical Society, Friends of the Negaunee Library, the Negaunee City Library Board and the Paisano Club. She enjoyed being a selfless volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul, the Negaunee Senior Center and the Historic PAAC Vista Theater.

Surviving are her two brothers, Steven (Kathy) Perucco of Negaunee and Michael (Bonnie) Perucco of Marquette; and nieces: Stephanie Perucco, Jen (Greg Webb) Anderson and Sara (Shawn) Tibbits. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Peter and Dennis Perucco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27th at St. Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor Peter Oberto officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 am until the time of Mass at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, and also at a luncheon in the St. Paul Gymnasium following Mass. Interment will take place in the Negaunee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Ms. Perucco’s memory to UPAWS, the Negaunee Public Library and/or the Negaunee Historical Society.
