Shirley K. Taylor
SPOKANE, WA – Shirley K. Taylor (St. Aubin), age 70, passed away May 31, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born on March 20, 1947 in Gwinn, MI to Mose and Eva St. Aubin.
She graduated high school in Gwinn in 1965 and then moved to Southern California where she got married in 1967. Shirley had three children, Jeffery Taylor, Gregory Taylor and Jennifer (Taylor) Leaming. She moved to Harrington, WA in 1976 and then to Spokane, WA in 1984 and has lived there ever since.
She was a nurse at Holy Family Hospital for 27 years. Shirley loved camping with her family and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed working with her hands building things out of wood.
Gonzaga basketball was her favorite sport to watch and she loved her pajamas – the final count revealed she had 34 pairs! Shirley was a devout member of the Calvary Chapel of Spokane for the last 16 years.
Shirley is survived by her children, Gregory (Jennifer) Taylor and Jennifer (Bob) Leaming; grandchildren, Brendan Taylor, Canada Taylor, Ryan Leaming, Kyle Leaming and Mathew Taylor; as well as six sisters and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Taylor; two grandchildren, Jessica and Preston Taylor; four brothers and her parents.
A funeral service was held in June 5th at Calvary Chapel Spokane in Washington.
Shirley was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her.
