Edward (Ted) Bracher Waldo

ROCHESTER, MN – Edward (Ted) Bracher Waldo, 84, of Rochester, MN, died peacefully Wednesday, July 26th in Marquette, MI surrounded by family.

He was born March 7, 1933, to Dorothy and Neil Waldo in Duluth, Minnesota. Ted grew up in Duluth and served in the Army from 1953 until 1955. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and worked at IBM for 27 years. He enjoyed spending time with family at their Lake Superior cabin near Marquette, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Klefstad Waldo; three sons; two daughters; two brothers, Neil “Pep” (Mary Ann), San Mateo, CA; James (Alice), Pengilly, MN; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The memorial service will be Friday, August 4th, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN. Memorials can be sent to Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rochester, MN; or Rochester Symphony Orchestra, Rochester, MN.
