DAYTONA BEACH, FL MARQUETTE, MI — Timothy Richard Liupakka, age 49, of Daytona Beach, Florida, and former Marquette area resident, entered eternal life Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in Florida.

Born July 25, 1967, in Marquette, a son of Richard and Kathleen (Trewhella) Liupakka, Tim was raised in Marquette and graduated from Marquette Senior High School, Class of 1986. During his high school years, Tim was involved in the drama and choral clubs. He attended Northern Michigan University and Marquette University in Milwaukee, pursuing a degree in interior design.

Tim resided in Milwaukee for a number of years, working at Walker’s Point Cafe and drag shows at LaCage Nightclub. He returned to Marquette where he was employed in residential and commercial cleaning. He also was a caregiver to his niece, Cheyanne, and nephew, Laine, for many years. Tim and his friends formed a drag show company, performing at Northern Michigan University and Hotplate.

In October 2015, Tim relocated to Florida to be with his lifetime partner, Peter Williamson. The couple purchased a home in September 2016. Tim was currently employed in housekeeping with a hotel in Daytona Beach. Tim will always be remembered for his infectious smile, loyalty to family and friends, concern for others, his artistic and dramatic talents, and his being always available to listen.
