PWPL to host genealogy classes

MARQUETTE — The Peter White Public Library announces two Beginning Genealogy Workshops on Monday and repeated on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room.

The beginning workshop will cover pedigree charts, family groups, census records, and organizational techniques. This workshop will be led by Joan Ball, president of the Marquette County Genealogical Society.

Those with an interest in researching their family history are welcome to attend. Space is limited. Registration is required. Participants should bring a list of relatives or family tree to class.
