Steve Croschere named ‘Top of the Top’ custodian

Steve Croschere, head custodian at Bothwell Middle School, pictured third from left in the front row, was recently named “Top of the Top” in a Celebrate Your Custodian contest sponsored by Bona, an international hardwood floor care company. Croschere was selected from a field of nearly 300 custodians nominated for the honor, based on his wide array of trade-specific skills; unique contributions as an emergency responder and student mentor; can-do attitude; and positive influence on both students and school staff, according to a press release. Croschere will be awarded a $200 gift card and a Bona SuperCourt Athletic Floor Care prize package valued at $625, which will allow school floors to be cleaned with environmentally-safe products. Pictured, from left in the front row, with Croschere are officers from Bothwell’s student council: Trinity Burdick, Aiden Swanson, Grant Salo, Ethan Swanson and Aurora Welker.
