$7,500 raised for Honor Flight

The U.P. Chapter of Michigan Credit Union League held its annual charity golf outing on Aug. 24 at the Terrace Bluff Country Club in Gladstone. There were 134 representatives from the Upper Peninsula area credit unions including corporate sponsors of the event. It is with their assistance we were able to raise $7,500 to benefit the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight. Gatiss said, “The golf for charity event is in its 11th year of supporting various organizations across the Upper Peninsula.” In accepting the donation, Knauf stated, “This type of financial support is amazing and will definitely help fund future missions. The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight is our way of paying a small tribute to those who gave so much–a memorable, safe, and rewarding tour of honor.”
