The club also hosted an ATV /UTV ride to raise funds for the Jacobetti Home for Veterans.

The Hiawathaland Snowmobile Club hosted an outing for 12 residents of the Jacobetti Veterans Home at the snowmobile club clubhouse Sept. 29. The veterans were able to spend an afternoon, visiting, playing cards, roasting hot dogs, fishing and riding in UTV’s. All of the veterans had pie and ice cream and were given a goodie bag to take home with them. All the participants enjoyed the day and expressed the desire to come out to the clubhouse in the future. The club also hosted an ATV /UTV ride to raise funds for the Jacobetti Home for Veterans. Fifty riders and passengers took off the morning of Sept. 30 into the woods to enjoy nature for a great cause. After a four-hour ride the participants returned to the snowmobile clubhouse for refreshments and a bucket auction. The proceeds of the ride and the auction will be donated to the Jacobetti home to assist with future outings for the residents.
