Students make Dean’s Lists

Students with local connections have made the dean’s lists announced by several colleges and universities.

≤ NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Gabrielle Gencheff, chemistry major and Marquette Senior High School graduate has been named to the St. Olaf College dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester. She is the daughter of Nelson and Stephanie Gencheff.

The dean’s list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale. One of the nation’s leading liberal arts colleges, St. Olaf is located in Northfield, Minnesota.

≤ BEMIDJI, Minn. — Aidan Anderson from Gwinn earned Dean’s List honors from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota, at the conclusion of the spring 2017 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, BSU students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 GPA during the semester.

MINNEAPOLIS — The following students have been named to the 2017 spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Maria Kuopus, of Ishpeming, junior, College of Liberal Arts, and Jack Kochevar, of Marquette, sophomore, College of Sci and Engineering.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.
