Rotary of Marquette activates new club

The Rotary Club of Marquette has created a satellite club that meets in the evenings twice a month. Members of the club were installed on May 25 at the Landmark Inn. “Our satellite club provides an alternative for those who want to be part of Rotary but are unable to attend meetings during the day, or who find the regular cost of membership prohibitive,” stated president Sally Davis. The Rotary Satellite Club will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month from 7-8 p.m. The venue for the meetings will be rotated among local businesses. Members inducted into the new satellite club include: Scott Brenneman, Joe Burdick (transferring member), Tim Glover, Julie Lahtinen, Allison Marlowe, Brian McRae, Jackie Menhennick, Jim Rantanen, Tanya Savage, David Tousignant, and Simone Vajda.
