On April 28, four local Edward Jones financial advisors helped fourth graders celebrate Arbor Day. Fourth Grade Foresters is a program that was started to celebrate Arbor day in schools across the country. Since 2007, more than 677,280 fourth graders have been given trees to take home and plant to make a difference in their own community. To make this possible locally, Edward Jones Financial Advisors Christian Verardi, Doug Gordon, Mike Ansell and Tom McFadden donated 300 Norway Spruce trees to the 4th grade classes at Father Marquette, Sandy Knoll, Cherry Creek, Superior Hills, Graveraet, and North Star Academy Schools. The advisors have donated more than 1200 trees to the 4th graders over the past 4 years. We really enjoy donating these trees seeing and hearing the students excitement is very much worth while.
