UP Health System-Marquette makes donation to Superior Arts Youth Theater: UP Health System-Marquette has made a $1,000 donation to the Superior Arts Youth Theater, a local non-profit organization which promotes youth engagement with the dramatic arts. Victor Harrington, regional director of Marketing and Business Development, said, “UP Health System-Marquette is committed to the health and well-being of our community and is proud to sponsor the Superior Arts Youth Theater.” The Superior Arts Youth Theater traces its history in Marquette back to 1992, when the city contracted an Arts & Culture coordinator, which led to the creation of the Arts and Culture Department in 1995. In 2002, the city of Marquette hired Nikke Nason as the Arts Education director. Nason became the executive artistic director of the youth theater and Lake Superior Theater in 2013.
