Man arrested on meth charges

ONTONAGON –A 43-year-old Ontonagon man was arrested Tuesday regarding delivery of methamphetamine charges, according to a press release issued by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, or UPSET.

According to the Ontonagon County Prosecuting Attorney’s office, Dion Jolif was first arrested for two counts of delivery/manufactoring meth. A second warrant was issued Thursday for one count of delivery of meth. Bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

The arrest is a result of a six month investigation by UPSET, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police-Wakefield Post, UPSET said.

Joliff will have a probable cause conference Oct. 30.
