ESCANABA — An 18-year-old Escanaba male was sentenced to two to 10 years in prison for robbing $268 from a local motel clerk held at knifepoint last summer. The judgment was handed down in Delta County Circuit Court on Monday.

Jacob Allen Christopher Jones pleaded guilty to larceny from a person last month. He is one of four Escanaba males who conspired to rob the Quality Inn and Suites on North Lincoln Road on Aug. 15, 2016.

Tristen Lee Snow, 18, of Escanaba, pleaded guilty to larceny from a person and was sentenced last month to a minimum of three years and two months to up to a maximum of 10 years in prison.

Jordan Randall Steinhausen, 23, was the accomplice driver who assisted in the armed robbery. He was sentenced earlier this month to two to four years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of aiding and abetting a larceny in a building.

The fourth co-defendant, Devin Joseph Wallendal, 21, was sentenced in February to 12 months in jail after he pleaded guilty to being an accessory to a felony after the fact for helping to plan the Escanaba robbery and hide evidence.
