MARQUETTE — Marquette General Hospital is planning a $25 million expansion across College Avenue from its existing complex. The construction, tentatively scheduled to begin in May 1988, would include a five-story mental health and substance abuse facility and a four-level parking structure — both connected to the main hospital by a walkway over College Avenue. The plan is the first step in a four-year expansion plan developed by the hospital’s board of directors, said board President Harlan Larson this morning.
