3 see drug charges in Manistique

MARQUETTE — Three people were arrested on multiple drug charges in Manistique after a narcotics investigation was conducted at a residence by Manistique police officers and a K-9 unit, according to Manistique’s Department of Public Safety.

Police arrested three people, Tyler Robert Glasscock, 28, of Gulliver; Jesse James Tahash, 25, of Gladstone; and Raquel Rene Vanderville, 28, of Manistique around 7 p.m. Thursday after the investigation was conducted at 250 N. Maple St., Manistique. Officers also found four children in the residence who were taken into protective custody and turned over to the Michigan Department of Child Protective Services.

Glasscock was charged with one count of controlled substance delivery/manufacture, methamphetamine, a 20-year felony, and one count of controlled substance use, methamphetamine, a one-year misdemeanor. Glasscock was jailed with his bond set at $100,000.

Tahash was charged with one count of controlled substance delivery/manufacture, methamphetamine, a 20-year felony, and one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, a two-year felony. Tahash was jailed with bond set at $100,000.

Vanderville, was charged with one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, a two-year felony, and controlled substance, maintaining a drug house, a two-year misdemeanor. Vanderville was jailed with bond set at $15,000 cash or surety with 10 percent allowed.

All were arraigned Friday in the 93rd District Court.
