MARESA surveys CTE students

MARQUETTE — Some 334 Marquette and Alger counties 2018 high school graduates, or their parents, will be contacted via email and/or telephone for a survey during February, March and April.

This survey will compile information about the student’s post-graduation training and employment status after completing a career and technical education program in high school, according to a news release.

The survey is being conducted for Gwinn, Ishpeming, Marquette, Munising, Negaunee, NICE and Superior Central high schools by the Marquette-Alger Regional Education Services Agency. The survey is required for schools to be eligible to receive state and federal funds that support career and technical education programs and it provides data to use for program improvement.

Officials said student and parent cooperation during the survey will be greatly appreciated. For more information, call Brian Sarvello at 906-226-5135.
