Resource rally to be held tonight
MARQUETTE — Today, Great Lakes PAIL Resources will be hosting a resource rally.
The event will raise awareness, as well as provide support for the families in the community who have experienced pregnancy and/or infant loss. It will be at the Delft Bistro, 139 W. Washington St., Marquette from 5-7 p.m.
It is free to attend. There will be information, photography opportunities, education and much more. Complimentary chocolate and refreshments will be provided by Donckers.
Organizations in attendance will include Pastor Jim Duflo, Dr. Cook OBGYN and associates, Stillbirth photography by Nichole Murphy, Doulas of Marquette, Cori Noordyk Therapy, UPHS-Bell and PeaceSHINE.
Great Lakes PAIL is a local organization dedicated to providing resources to individuals coping with the loss of pregnancy or infants, according to a press release.
“Great Lakes PAIL Resources, as an organization, is really excited to kick off their mission to help those in our community with this rally. We are excited to share and meet with all of the families, grandparents, siblings, employers, and other leaders throughout the Upper Peninsula that have experienced a loss like this, or want more information on how to help those that have,” said Whitney Sorelle, founder of Great Lakes PAIL Resources, in the press release.
