‘Lizardy’ event held at Children’s Museum

Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum employee Brynn Wing holds the museum’s lizard named Wanda who Wing helped to rescue last year. The museum’s reptiles as well as the reptiles of veterinarian Dr. Chery Shevy were out to play during the museum’s Lizardy event. The event “lets kids handle reptiles and realize they are an important part of our ecosystem and that they don’t have to be afraid of them,” said Shevy. (Journal photo by Trinity Carey)
