‘Celebrating Our Roots’ at annual tea party
“Celebrating Our Roots” is the theme of the fourth annual Tea Party held on Saturday by the Forsyth Township Public Library Fundraising Committee at the Gwinn Clubhouse. Community members wore ethnic dress during a style show, which came after patrons feasted on various tea sandwiches and sweet treats. Funds raised will go to upgrade technology at the library. From left are Bob Railey, dressed in Serbian garb; his wife, Nancy Railey, dressed in the style of East India; Louise Anderson, wearing Italian-style clothing; and Bob Miller, dressed in a Russian outfit. All four are from Marquette. (Journal photo by Christie Bleck)
