Blood center in need of supplies
MARQUETTE — The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of UP Health System-Marquette, is experiencing a critical need for O-negative, A-negative and O-positive blood types.
The center is asking people to “please consider giving the ‘gift of life.'”
Donors must meet the following requirements: healthy, hydrated, at least 110 pounds, at least 17 years of age, picture ID, and leave eight weeks between donations.
