Wildcat Watch Party set for Saturday

NMU will host a family friendly Wildcat Watch Party Saturday for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association championship game between the Wildcats and the Huskies. The event runs from 6-9:30 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. The first 500 people through the door will receive a free Wildcats rally towel — the same one being distributed at the hockey game. Admission is free, with concession food and beverages available for purchase. Wildcat Willy will make a special appearance. Attendees will be able to view the NMU-produced streaming broadcast of the game, which is available on campus cable channel 23.2 or 12.1. Those unable to attend the event or watch from the Upper Peninsula can stream the game on wcha.tv for a fee. (Houghton Daily Mining Gazette photo by David Archambeau)
