Toy giveaway deadlines passed

In an article published Wednesday regarding the Cheer Club and an increase of families in need, the article should have stated that St. Vincent de Paul’s deadline for its toy shop giveaway has passed. Qualified families should have registered last week. All families must be registered to participate in the toy giveaway on Dec. 21.

Christmas dinner time corrected

The Mining Journal was given inaccurate information regarding an article published in Saturday’s paper about organizations serving Christmas dinner. The article should have read that Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly will be serving dinner at 2 p.m., not 1 p.m.
