Keeping it natural

Earth Day marked at MooseWood

Sisters Natalie, 10, and Whitney Haile, 8, look at the microscope display with Moosewood animal supervisor Alex Bott. “We are so tech-dependent,” Bott said. “It’s nice to go somewhere to see real animals, real nature and connect with other people.” MooseWood Nature Center celebrated Earth Day on Saturday with up-cycling activities, local science displays, live animal interactions and a special presentation on beach safety from the Marquette Fire Department.
