School bus and car collide in Marquette

MARQUETTE – A car collided with a Marquette Area Public Schools bus just after 3 p.m. today at the intersection of West Washington Street and Sixth Street in Marquette.

The bus was filled with children at the time of the accident, but firefighters on the scene reported that there were no known injuries.

Traffic was temporarily slowed by police at the intersection.

The accident is currently being investigated, according to officials from the Marquette Police Department.

Assisting police at the scene was the Marquette Fire Department.
