DAR to meet in Hancock
MARQUETTE — The Onagomingkway Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at the Quincy Mine in Hancock on Saturday for an 11 a.m. tour followed by lunch at the Hut in Kiersarge.
Tickets are $25 for the tour. Any questions about this outing can be discussed with Melissa at 226-7836.
Anyone with connections to an American Revolutionary war patriot is invited to join the group.
Harvey Daze planned for Saturday
MARQUETTE — Harvey Daze 2018 will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Creek Recreation Area.
This is planned as a day of family fun, including a disc golf tournment, classic car show, crafter booths, vendor booths, bounce houses, a dunk tank, laser tag, senior games, kids games and more.

Erickson Center night of music set
CURTIS — Erickson Center for the Arts, Curtis, presents “Taller Than They Appear,” a fun, carefree night of music at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Performing all originals all of the time, Jere Stormer, Bobby Pennock, Sigrid Christiansen and Lauren Crane are Taller Than They Appear, a band of songwriters.
Each has a style that is miles from the next, but come together with soulful harmonies, arresting arrangements and a smattering of instruments.
Birdcalls, bells and bongos, woodblocks, washboards and whistles round out the guitars, violins and ukuleles.
