The Marquette Rotary Club recognized five members for support of the Paul Harris Fellow program. Recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow denotes a contribution to the Rotary Foundation. Rotary is dedicated to six areas of focus to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support peace efforts and end polio forever. Since beginning its polio eradication program in 1979 when there were 350,000 cases of polio worldwide, the incidence of the disease has decreased 99.9 percent.
