News from UPAWS
Through the hard work of staff and volunteers, and the commitment and dedication of our friends and neighbors, the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter has raised $2.47 million toward our $3.7 million Imagine the PAWSibilities Campaign for a new shelter.
UPAWS is getting closer to our goal to build an animal shelter that can be more than just an animal shelter, it can be an animal community center!
UPAWS has custom naming opportunities available for the animal community center and pledges can be paid out over 5 years. With designated areas for cats, dogs, small critters, large animals, there are plenty of ways you may show your care and support for the animals that you love.
Are you a critter lover? Do you love rats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, all of the above? At the current shelter, our critters have to be placed in the lobby, break room, office, or hallways. Do you want to be part of giving small critters a room of their own at the new shelter, one away from the hustle and bustle and anxiety of the lobby? Do you want a legacy of your commitment to the small critters that we help to save?
UPAWS has a number of different naming opportunities, including the small critter room for a gift or pledge of $20,000. Naming opportunities can be for you, your family, your business, in honor, or in memory of a loved one.
Imagine an animal shelter that you will always be a part of- Imagine the PAWSibilities.
