MCHD — Clinic Services available today at Marquette County Health Department are: HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing, Family Planning, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening, STD, and Health Services from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. A WIC Clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Al-Anon — 10 a.m. Mission Covenant Church, North Second Street, in Ishpeming.

Blood drive –Upper Peninsula Health System-Marquette’s U.P. Regional Blood Center will have a blood drive at the Gwinn VFW with the bloodmobile from 3-6 p.m. For an appointment call Joyce Styer at 346-7595.

Casting — The Marquette Regional History Center presents the Special Exhibit– Kissing the Water: The Lure and the Lore of Fly Fishing Casting Event, Demo Day. Demo Day from 3-6 p.m. and it’s a chance to watch area masters and try your hand at tying and casting. Children welcome as well as seasoned veterans. Included in price of admission. Grand Opening of Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference — Celebrate the opening of this traveling exhibit which emphasizes engineering: past, present, and future; high tech vs. low tech; and creating the future of sustainable energy.
