Art on the Lake — The Erickson Center for the Arts presents the 18th Annual Art on the Lake Art and Music Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Erickson Center Park in Curtis. This event is fun for all ages and includes a variety of food vendors, live music acts, more than 40 booths featuring unique, handcrafted art, a silent auction, a children’s parade and children’s art project. Attendees can vote for the People’s Choice Award in the ninth annual Photo Contest and enjoy musical performances by The Hozz and The Flying Latini Brothers. 74th annual Rock Lions Labor Day Celebration — will take place with a parade at 11 a.m. The theme is “UP Summers.” Grand marshals for this year’s parade are Jeff and Cheryl Patrick of Rock.
