MCHD — Clinic Services available today at Marquette County Health Department are: HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing, and Immunizations from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. A WIC Clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

NMS schedules — Students attending the Negaunee Middle School during the 2017-18 school year can pick up beginning-of-the-year packets at the school office. Office hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Legion rummage — The annual American Legion Auxilary Unit 44 Rummage Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will be at the Legion post, 700 W. Bluff St., Marquette. Proceeds will go to support Legion programs.

12-Step Recovery Groups — offered daily at the Alano Club, 1202 S. Front St., Marquette.

Blood drive –Upper Peninsula Health System-Marquette’s U.P. Regional Blood Center will have a blood drive at River Valley Bank, Marquette, with the bloodmobile from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. For an appointment call Kelly Touchinski at 273-2601.

Schizophrenics Alliance Group — is a six-step support group for individuals with schizophrenia or a related disorder. Meetings will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Brantley Drop-In. Contact Annette at 226-1077 for more information.

Alanon — meets 1:30 p.m., Grace Episcopal Church, corner of First and Canda streets, Ishpeming.

VFW fundraiser — VFW 3165 Auxiliary is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The event will be in the upstairs of the post building on Gold Street in Negaunee and is handicap accessible. Tickets are $8 for those 13 and older; $5 for kids ages 5-12; and free for children under the age of 5. On the menu will be spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, garlic bread, tossed salad and dessert. All proceeds go toward the purchase of a new banner and cemetery flag emblems.

Fish fry — is 5-7:30 p.m., Negaunee Eagles Club.

School supply handout — St. Louis the King Feast Day Free Community Meal/School Supply Hand Out.

Everyone is welcome and school supplies will be passed out to school-aged children. Mass at 5:30 p.m. and meal at 6 p.m.
