Lyle gun — The Marquette Maritime Museum will mark the occasion of the 227th anniversary of the U.S. Coast Guard by firing their historic line-throwing Lyle Gun on Coast Guard Day at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Percussive Attack Camp — will wrap up a week-long study of music at Northern Michigan University with a free public concert. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. Students from middle school age through adults will perform on marimbas, xylophones, bongos, timpani, cymbals, triangles, garbage cans and other percussion instruments.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. — Lake Superior Theatre brings Superior Arts Youth Theater to the stage for “Schoolhouse Rock Live!
