Give Back to School Drive

MARQUETTE — The Advance America location at 3119 U.S. 41 in Ishpeming is hosting a Give Back to School Drive thru Sept. 12 to benefit Aspen Ridge Elementary School in Ishpeming.

“Aspen Ridge Elementary School, works to grow and educate our community’s children each year, and we’re excited to provide the school with the necessary supplies to help kick off the school year,” said Allison Van Gorp, divisional director of operations, in a news release.

Advance America will also raffle a backpack filled with donated school supplies. Anyone is eligible to enter to win the backpack.

“Our commitment to serving the community extends beyond the walls of our center,” Gorp said. “We are proud to support the education of children right in our own neighborhood through our Give Back to School Program.”

Everyone in the community is invited to join in with Advance America’s Give Back to School Supply drive. All donations will be presented to the school shortly after the school year starts.
