Carnegie summer — The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library offers Alex Thomas and Friends Puppet Show at 11 a.m. Join professional puppeteers for an interactive, fun, and exciting puppet show featuring Muppet-style puppets. Stay for a meet and greet following the show for a chance to meet the characters, take photos, and receive autographs. All ages. Then at 2 p.m., Adult Book Club. This summer: “A Darker Shade of Magic” by V.E. Schwab. Ages 18 and up.

Afternoons at the Museum — The Michigan Iron Industry Museum hosts Afternoons at the Museum at 2 p.m. “Wolf’s Mouth: Upper Peninsula P.O.W. Research Behind the Novel,” John Smolens, athor, Marquette.
