Craft fair vendors sought

MARQUETTE — Vendors are being sought for the 35th Annual Old Victoria Craft Fair which will be taking place on Aug. 20 at the Old Victoria Historical Site, located 4 miles outside of Rockland, Michigan.

This day is the perfect pairing of history and fun, with a little something for everyone.

The day features an open house of the four restored hand-hewn log cabins that were built in 1899 to house the workers and families of the Victoria Copper Mining Company.

Old-fashioned kids games and races will be held on the lawn at 1:30 p.m., and hot dogs, brats and beverages will be served throughout the day. The famous homemade cinnamon rolls will be served fresh from the woodstove, a real treat.

Old Victoria is looking for interested vendors for the arts and crafts show that will take place on the lawn of the historical site. Only handmade, original work is accepted, and working displays or demonstrations are encouraged.

Find the vendor application and more information at www.facebook.com/oldvictoria.
