Blues jam set for PWPL
MARQUETTE — The Peter White Public Library and the Marquette Area Blues Society would like to invite music lovers to a blues jam session at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Peter White Public Library’s community room, part of the monthly Bluesday Tuesday series.
This month, Fast Eddie’s Blues Trust will be performing with Eddie on slide guitar, harmonica, and lead vocals; Crab on guitar; Kurt on bass; and Scott on drums. They will be playing both original and classic rock-influenced blues with a nod toward electric Mississippi and Chicago styles. As a side note, they will also be playing at the Marquette Blues Fest this September.
There is no admission charge to attend this event which is co-sponsored by the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library. Call 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information.
