Marquette Memorial Day — services will take place at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery and at 10:15 a.m. at Park Cemetery. The American Legion Post 44 encourages everyone in the Marquette community to join in these services. Refreshments will be served at the American Legion Post 44, 700 W. Bluff St., Marquette following the 10:15 a.m. service.
Gwinn Memorial Day — schedule for the Gwinn VFW and American Legion of Little Lake is: 9:30 a.m., a brief ceremony will be held at Nordeen Park; 10 a.m., parade to Gwinn cemetery; 10:45 a.m., memorial service at cemetery. The VFW people will proceed to Bakkala Cemetery on M-35 immediately after the service. At 12:30 p.m., the American Legion will have a service at McFarland Cemetery then at 2:30 pm., the American Legion will have a service at West Branch Cemetery.
Ishpeming Memorial Day Ceremony — will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery at 10 a.m. The services will be conducted by area veterans groups. In case of rain, the event will be held at the VFW Post 4573.
Negaunee Memorial Day — A Memorial Day parade will take place in Negaunee starting at 10 a.m. Services will follow at the Negaunee Cemetery at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be served at the Negaunee VFW post following the services.
