Birds — MooseWood Nature Center in Marquette has added a before Valentine’s Day program for feathery friends that all will enjoy. Birds Need Love Too! Making Valentine’s Treats for Our Feathered Friends will be presented at 2 p.m. Participants can spread some love to the birds by making some winter treats and decorating a love tree for the birds. Then, those attending can enjoy a winter walk with binoculars around the bog for some bird watching. Participants may warm up with some hot chocolate after the program. Library Open House — The Friends of the Negaunee Public Library will hold their Valentine Open House from noon to 3 p.m. on Valentine Day.
