Cookie decorating — River Valley Bank will be hosting its third annual Christmas Cookie Decorating Night at its location at 1140 W. Washington St., Marquette. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. Christmas Sugar cookies are being donated by the Huron Mountain Bakery as well as the decorating items. Santa will make an appearance and kids will have the opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. The event is open to the public to come to decorate a cookie, have a cup of hot cocoa or coffee. Donations will be accepted for Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army.

LED card making — The public is invited to participate in a holiday LED Christmas card making gathering at Marquette Senior High School. The session will be from 6-7:30 p.m. in the MAPS Makerspace at MSHS. The cost is $11.54 (includes processing fee) and participants get to make two or three cards to take home. MSHS Makers club members will be on hand to help. Attendees under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not need to pay unless they plan to make additional cards.
