CHAMPION — On Friday, Aug. 17, the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce will host our annual glow-in-the-dark, par-3 tournament, Cosmic Glow Golf. The event will take place at the Wawonowin Country Club in Champion.

The first shotgun start will begin at 6 p.m. sharp with registration, food, and beverages beginning at 5 p.m. Once participants are done with their first nine holes on the course, they will come into the clubhouse for snacks, drinks, and a briefing from the GlowVibe staff (the company contracted to assist creating the glow-in-the-dark experience).

After 9 p.m., the course will be lit up with neon lights, complete with glow-in-the-dark golf balls for each participant! Finally, at 11 p.m., there will be awards and prizes. 

Along the course, be on the lookout for the Tiki Bar with Jello shots and Grasshopper drinks, side games, the beverage cart, and a 50/50 raffle!

Cosmic Glow Golf is one of GINCC’s largest fundraising events for the year. Funds raised from the event will go back into the community and our chamber members- providing resources for professional development, community activities, and much more!

From now until Aug. 1, GINCC is running an Early Bird Special for participants — just $75/person or $275/Team of 4! After Aug. 1, tickets are $80/person or $300/Team of 4. Registration includes food, carts, entertainment, greens fees, range balls, and a commemorative gift!
