Honor Yoga Marketplace coming to Negaunee

Gabi Kautz

Honor Yoga studio will transform into a Marketplace on Sunday, Feb. 25.

From 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, the studio at 327 Iron St. in Negaunee will not be providing any yoga classes, but many other goodies instead. The purpose of the Honor Yoga Marketplace is to help raise funds for aspiring yoga teachers to attend this summer’s yoga teacher training held by Honor Yoga. The funds raised on Sunday will be used as scholarships for these students.

While there won’t be yoga classes happening inside the actual studio, there will be two donation-based classes happening that day inside A&C Design in Negaunee. The first class to start the day is YOD (Your Own Determination) at 9 a.m., and the day finishes off with a SloGlo class at 6 p.m.

Inside the Marketplace you will find a variety of fun items available for purchase. There will be essential oils, jewelry, handmade soap, baked goods, protein powder, artwork and much more! On top of shopping, you will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win any of the various basket prizes. Raffle ticket prices are $1 for 1 ticket and $5 for 6 tickets.

So while you’re running your Sunday errands, be sure to stop by Honor Yoga in Negaunee for a fun and unique shopping experience. It’s a win-win for everyone — you leave with awesome stuff, a lucky student gets a scholarship towards one of their dreams! If you can’t hang out and shop, you can attend one of the two yoga classes and donate what you’re able. It’s sure to be a fun-filled day, and the best part is that it’s for a great cause!
